Designated Disposer

If you’re in college or have young children, your car is going to be filled with random boxes, wrappers, crumbs, bottles, you name it. Instead of accumulating all this garbage on your annual cleanup day, have a sturdy container that can be your mobile trash can. It’s a convenient size, it has a lid so nothing will fall out, and your guests have somewhere to dispose of their trash. To keep the container clean and in your car, use a plastic grocery bag to line it. You won’t have to take the container out of the car and it’s more hygienic.

A Tired Penny

Worn tires are asking for trouble, you could easily get a puncture or find yourself with no grip and in a potentially bad accident. Now, some tire treads may appear fine but make sure with the use of a penny. Place the penny with Lincoln’s head facing down between the grooves and if the forehead is exposed, it is time to consider replacing your tires.

Hold Up!

Have you struggled with coordinating your phone to use as a navigation to your destination? Most cab drivers have a mounted phone holder but can be a bit excessive for some, so don’t worry because the rubber band has stepped up once again. Thread a rubber band through the top of the air vent and pull it out from the bottom vent. You will be able to place your phone in the gaps of the bands in the top and bottom vent.

The Heat of the Moment

If you are planning on treating your family to takeaways, you might as well make sure the food is warm by the time you get home. No one likes cold fast food. Ew! If your car has the feature, pop on the seat heater to keep your food warm till you arrive at your destination.

Nailed It

Nothing is as annoying as driving anxiously behind a truck on the highway and a small stone ends up chipping your windscreen. It’s an annoying and potentially expensive fix, especially if you don’t fix the crack immediately. For a quick temporary fix, apply a bit of clear non-gel nail polish over and a bit just surrounding the area of impact. Just give the area a wipe down to get rid of the dust before you apply the nail polish. There are some really simple solutions to the annoying dilemmas we tend to deal with on a regular basis.
