Safari Ford Escape Sport Track is What the World Deserves
A great man once said, “Take the best that exists and make it better. When it does not exist, design it.” Sure, that was Sir Henry Royce of Rolls-Royce, but that has to have been the line of thinking this particular mechanic was following when he built out a custom Ford Escape that looks like a mesh of a safari SUV.
There is not a definitive best SUV per se, but the Escape has been a consistent force since it was introduced. And this guy apparently loved his so much that he decided to do it up and create something we’ve never seen before. It’s like a miniature Explorer Sport Track, and it kind of makes a lot of sense.
The Escape has been lifted 3.5 inches, it has 33-inch tires, all-wheel drive, a raised air intake, and a locked rear differential. Combine that with its small size, and you could have a decent little trail truck. And how about that rear cutaway with the soft top? What other Escape has that?
It’s currently listed for $3,000 in Minneapolis, if you’re interested.
