5. Fast & Furious 6 (2013)
At number 5, we have “Fast & Furious 6” (2013). This movie really has everything you could want from one of these kinds of flicks: non-stop action, real family-friendly characters, crazy heist sequences, and much more. It also has powerful tanks, flying cars, and a really strong villain. But truth be told, there are a few more movies in this franchise that rank higher on this list, for numerous reasons.
4. F9: The Fast Saga (2021)
“F9” (2021) rolls in at number 4. This movie kicks some serious tail because of all of the action from start to finish, despite what this photo might suggest. There is plenty of character growth, cheesy talk about family, and many new faces to spice things up. Not to mention the fact that Han makes the unlikeliest of comebacks.
3. The Fast and the Furious (2001)
Spinning its way into the number 3 position is the OG, “The Fast and the Furious” (2001). With Paul Walker and Vin Diesel at the helm, this movie put the pedal to the metal and launched the franchise into high gear. It’s not as outrageous and unrealistic as the others, but it was never going to be.
2. Fast Five (2011)
At number 2, we have “Fast Five” (2011), which took the franchise in a new direction with a heist-centric plot. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also made his first appearance in the franchise, adding some extra muscle to the already action-packed cast.
1. Furious 7 (2015)
And last but certainly not least, at number 1 is “Furious 7” (2015). This movie is the best of the bunch, with director James Wan at the helm and a touching fairwell to the late Paul Walker. Plus, who can forget that scene where they drop cars from an airplane? That’s some serious high-flying action.
